The first country that Myanmar targets is Thailand, then it will expand to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
Before Malaysia and Myanmar, many countries in the Asian region have opened up to international tourism. From November 1, guests from 63 destinations in the green zone as assessed by the Government Thai (including Vietnam) will be entitled to a quarantine exemption policy if they fully meet 7 conditions. Currently, Thailand is gradually reopening the country based on three models. The first is that those who have not been fully vaccinated will have to quarantine for 7-14 days. The second is the sandbox model, tested in 17 provinces and the third is the non-quarantine model mentioned above.
From November 14, people arriving in Cambodia via air, water and land do not need to be isolated if they have had two vaccines, have negative nCoV test results within 72 hours before departure and rapid test upon entry. . After that, they are allowed to visit any place in the country.
The decision to exempt the quarantine is to reopen the country, welcome investors and visitors, and create favorable conditions for Cambodians to repatriate. Those who have not been fully immunized are still required to quarantine for 14 days.
From today, India resumes tourism activities. Visitors allowed to enter are those with visas issued from October 6. Guests must present a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours of departure. Children under one year of age are exempt from testing.
In Vietnam, international visitors can come from November, and destinations are localities including Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Quang Ninh, satisfying 4 conditions.
