The Government decided to stop requiring visitors to enter and exit by road without filling out declarations to limit overcrowding and overcrowding.
The government has approved the decision and the Interior Ministry will make a specific announcement within a week, the Bangkok Post reported today.
According to Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha, eliminating the requirement to fill out entry and exit declaration forms will help tourists feel more comfortable when visiting the country. At the same time, this also reduces crowding and congestion at airports in the past time because passengers have to gather to fill out declarations and check-in procedures. Thailand also saves about 45.5 million baht in printing costs of about 65 million declaration forms a year, according to deputy government spokesman Traisuree Taisaranakul.

However, this is only temporary. The authorities will monitor and evaluate the results of the declaration as well as the problems that arise. Depending on the specific situation, the government will amend the regulations, especially in case they cannot trace the visitors.
