Specifically, the Ministry of Health requires tourists from 12 years of age or older, when entering Vietnam, they must have a negative nCoV test result by RT-PCR method 72 hours before entry, along with a certificate of adequate vaccination. dose of Covid-19 vaccine (at least 14 days, not more than 6 months) or certificate of recovery.
Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed to recognize nCoV negative test results by rapid test method within 24 hours before departure and within 72 hours for RT-PCR method.

The Ministry of Health also stipulates that visitors should stay at the property within 72 hours after entry, of which the first 24 hours are mandatory. Children under 12 and people at high risk also have stricter regulations. Specifically, people 65 years of age and older, pregnant women, and people with underlying medical conditions should limit travel. These subjects must also have a certificate of full vaccination of Covid-19 vaccine before entering Vietnam.
Children under 12 years old are required to travel with their parents and relatives who meet the above regulations. Children who have been vaccinated or have a certificate of recovery must be tested like adults. Those who have not been vaccinated or have not yet contracted Covid-19 are not allowed to leave the accommodation within 24 hours. After 7 consecutive days with negative nCoV test results, they are allowed to leave the accommodation. Children under 2 years old are not required to be tested.
Regarding the medical declaration application, visitors install and use PC-Covid during their stay in Vietnam. At the border gate, if you have symptoms of cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, you should report it to the health authority for isolation according to regulations. On the way from the border gate to the accommodation, you must ensure 5K, limit parking and contact the community.
