According to this proposal, international and domestic tourism activities will be fully reopened from March 15 by air, road and sea. The measures to control travel since the outbreak have been lifted, instead of 5K practice at all stages, all the time...
International visitors to Vietnam do not need to register for a tour. They only need to certify that they have had enough Covid-19 vaccine or that they have recovered from the disease. A negative test result for nCoV is required, but rapid testing is allowed. Children over 12 years old coming to Vietnam are required to receive 2 doses of the vaccine.
Representatives of the ministries also proposed that Vietnam exempt visas unilaterally for 13 countries and bilaterally for 88 countries/territories, as before the epidemic.
International visitors entering by air with Covid-19 symptoms must be tested at the airport. Visitors entering via land are tested at the border gate. Travelers must install the prescribed health management application and enable it continuously during travel. The proposal also requires insurance to cover Covid-19. If the guest is positive, they will be isolated, managed and treated like a Vietnamese.

From now until March 14, the tourism industry will continue the pilot program to welcome international guests in the second phase, via charter flights.
For domestic tourism, localities need to welcome and serve guests according to the translation level, complying with guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Guests need to ensure the 5K message, self-monitor their health and notify the medical facility when having symptoms of cough, fever, difficulty breathing. In addition, visitors need to have medical insurance to cover the cost of Covid-19 treatment.
