Vietnam National Culture Day 2021 in Hanoi

"Vietnam National Culture Day 2021" will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Son Tay, Hanoi) from April 16-19, 2021.

Since 2008, the Prime Minister has adopted April 19 every year as "Vietnam National Culture Day". This activity aims to educate patriotism and national pride and contribute to preserving, preserving and honoring the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation.

This year, "Vietnam National Culture Day" held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism also aims to introduce the unique cultural values ​​of 54 ethnic groups stored at the "commune house "of ethnic groups to people and tourists.

A series of activities with the participation of 270 people from 17 ethnic communities, from 15 provinces and cities representing ethnic groups and regions such as: Ede, Khmer, Tay, Nung, Kho Mu, Thai, Xe Post ... and the art program is expected to be broadcast live on the air of Vietnam Television (VTV).

Special festivals and customs of ethnic minorities are also introduced and vividly reproduced in the framework of "National Culture Day of Vietnam 2021" such as the Ceremony of Leaving Ma (Po thi) of ethnic Gia Rai, Château Chom Thmay and activities "Happy New Year" of the Khmer people, Water procession (rapture) in the Kinh Duong Vuong festival - King of the ancestors of Vietnam, Rice celebration new "Kin Khau Ho" of the Lao ethnic minority, Performing the type of folk performance Mo Muong.

In addition, the conference to summarize 5 years of organizing daily activities of ethnic minorities at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will also take place on this occasion. The delegates attending the conference will have the opportunity to comment and propose modes of operation, mechanisms, policies, and the coordination of ministries, branches and localities in mobilizing ethnic artisans in different regions.
