Nearby the gate are two massive bell towers, while the bright pink church is fitted with three beautifully-decorated Italian marble altars.

Starting construction in 1870 and inaugurated on December 16, 1876, Tan Dinh Church is one of the oldest churches in the city. With its signature Gothic and pink architecture, the church has become one of the most prominent places in Saigon.

In general, the church is like a towering fairy castle on the bustling Hai Ba Trung street. Through each period, Tan Dinh church has been renovated and remodeled, but so far, the building retains its original intact architecture.
