Accordingly, the program "Ho Chi Minh City welcomes you - Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City" is expected to start from March 15 to June 15. All businesses and services (transportation, dining, shopping, entertainment, accommodation...) in the area will have a bonus program for international tourists when using the service.

Sharing more specifically about the implementation idea, a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that before the hotel usually has a welcome letter when guests come to check-in, now they give more fruits and cakes. Restaurants, eateries offer extra desserts, drinks... Accommodation can give more souvenirs to create excitement for visitors.

The Department of Tourism will also recommend ministries and sectors to recognize and issue guidelines for the use of vaccine passports for international visitors, and coordinate with the Department of Health in advising and timely adjusting epidemic prevention regulations in line with real conditions.
