Hanoi and Danang are listed in the top 10 trending desination over the world, according to Airbnb. Da Nang ranks fifth (booking surges up to 255% against the same period last year), while Hanoi comes 9th in the list, with a 212% annual increase.
Airbnb is a famous website allowing people to list their homes and hotels for holiday rentals by the smartphone application. Recently, Airbnb has released the top 10 trending destinations in 2018 based on their bookings over last year. There are 2 cities in Vietnam listed in this top 10 destinations:
Da Nang ranks fifth (with the number of booking surges up to 255% against the same period last year), while Hanoi comes 9th in the list, with a 212% annual increase.
And Hanoi - a thousand-year city attracts tourists not only for the French's architecture but also for the history, heritage, and culture. Hanoi also ranks 52nd among the world’s 100 leading cities in terms of international tourist arrivals as this year it expects to welcome 4.3 million foreign tourists.

According to Airbnb, Danang is a must-visit destination in Southeast Asia with many beautiful beaches and nearby destinations such as Hoi An. The central city of Danang is known as the host for the "APEC Senior Leadership Week 2017" and annual international fireworks festival in April, which attracted nearly 2.3 million international tourists in all of 2017, increases 37% against the same period last year. People believe that these events are the "golden" chances for Danang's tourism industry.
