Today you will leave for the breathtaking rice terraces, Sapa! You will be picked up at 6.30 am at the hotel and then you will leave for Sapa at 7 am with the bus. Here you arrive around 13.00 . You leave directly by private car towards the beautiful Muong Hoa valley. Here you can make a relatively simple walking tour from Lao Chai to Ta Van. This morning you make a very nice walking tour from Ta Van to Giang TaCha through the hilly valley, higher up into the mountains. The guide knows the way on her thumb because she comes from here. Around 8 o'clock you will be picked up at your hotel where the 3.5 hour ride to the port of Halong Bay begins. At the beginning of the afternoon you arrive at the pier and board the comfortable on cruise. Lunch is served on board while the boat starts to sail through the beautiful bay. It is not for nothing that Halong Bay is on every travel program and is one of the most famous pictures when you think of Vietnam. This unique bay, where limestone rocks rise majestically from the sea, is in its entirety on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This afternoon you can choose from two different activities. Upon arrival in Hue you will be transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day free to further discover the city itself. This is very easy to do from the centrally located hotel. You start with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, a walled fortress meant as a copy of the forbidden city of the Chinese emperor in Beijing, China. After entering the Ngo Mon Gate we enter the Purple Forbidden City. From the 18th to the middle of the 20th century, the Forbidden City was reserved for the Royal Nguyen family. Unfortunately, most of the city was bombed flat by the Americans in 1968, in response to a communist takeover of Hue. As we can see, only a few buildings remain, such as the Thai Hoa temple, the Can Thanh temple, the Mieu and Hieu Lam Cac. Yet these special remains are definitely worth a visit!
We leave the Imperial Citadel and drive along the bank of the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda. Here we visit the 7-storey octagonal tower, the symbol of Hue. Overnight in Hue.

After a good breakfast, visit the Tu Duc Tomb in the morning, the remains of the enormous palace with the beautiful lake of the beloved Emperor Tu Duc. Then the beautiful ride begins to Hoi An. Along the way we make a short stop at the Lang Co beach and pass the famous cloud pass Hai Van, the highest pass in Vietnam. It is definitely one of the most beautiful journeys of this trip.
