Visitors to Puerto Rico will be fined $ 300 for failing to present a Covid-19 negative within the previous 72 hours, regardless of having been vaccinated or not.
While tourists are welcome to visit Puerto Rico, there are still plenty of Covid-19 precautions in place around the island. Currently, Puerto Rico does not exempt foreign visitors from quarantine, even though they are certified to have received the Covid-19 vaccine.

Travel information site Discover Puerto Rico said that from April 28, tourists to the islands will be fined 300 USD if they fail to present negative Covid-19 results and be forced to do so. PCR test followed immediately.
Covid-19 quick test results are also not recognized. Within 48 hours, visitors upload the results to the online portal "Travel Safe" and can then continue their journey.

Previously, Puerto Rico had imposed a $ 100 fine policy for visitors who refused to wear masks in public. Island-wide curfews are in effect every night, starting from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The public areas at the hotels are still closed. Puerto Rico recommends that the elderly, those who are sick, have a chronic illness should not travel at this time.
