How to get to Thai Binh

Bus

From Hanoi to Thai Binh, with a distance of more than 100km, you can go to big bus stations like My Dinh, Giap Bat to catch a bus. Some reputable bus operators you can choose from are Mai Su, Ngan Son, and Long Thu. The average ticket price is about 80,000 VND / time.

Motorbike

From Hanoi, you can ride a motorbike to Thai Binh in the following 2 routes:

  • Hanoi - Highway 1 to Dong Van turn left through Yen Lenh bridge and then continue on Highway 39 in Hung Yen territory through Trieu Duong bridge. to Thai Binh.

  • From Hanoi-QL1 run to Phu Ly, turn left to enter NH21, go to the overpass on NH10, then turn left onto Highway 10 and go straight to Tan De bridge to reach Thai Binh.

 

Tourist Attractions in Thai Binh

Keo Pagoda

Keo Pagoda is located in Duy Nhat commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province. The pagoda was built under the Le Dynasty, up to now, the life expectancy has been nearly 400 years, this is one of the temples in Vietnam that is still preserved intact with a masterpiece made of wood. The famous architectural work of the temple is the bell tower. The steeple is 11.04m high, with 3 roof floors. The first floor has a stone altar (1.87m long), the second floor has a bell cast in 1686, the third floor and the top floor has a bell cast in 1796.

Bac Trach Church

Bac Trach Church is located in Tien Hai district, about 25km from the center of Thai Binh city. The church was built in Gothic architecture with many doorways, many pointed towers, and pointed arches. This is considered one of the churches with the most beautiful architectural masterpiece in Vietnam, a feat of Gothic architecture, which is seen most prominently in large churches and basilicas.

Dong Chau Beach

Dong Chau beach belongs to Dong Minh commune - Tien Hai district, 35 km from Thai Binh city. Dong Chau beach still has many wild features, which have not been invested in artificial construction as much as other beaches.
