Forget passports, damage, break things in the hotel, get lost... are problems that many tourists often encounter.
In a study just conducted in the first half of October, the travel website Express found that more than 6 out of 10 people experience "something" unfortunate on the way. Here are the most common problems people have, according to survey results.
1. Forgetting a necessary item (sunscreen, phone charger, underwear, passport...)
2. Bringing something against the weather conditions upon arrival (eg think it's cold, bring all cold clothes and get there it's not cold or it's raining but don't bring an umbrella).
3. Break/damage something at the hotel
4. Get lost, get stuck in traffic, and miss your flight/train
5. Get stung by something (like jellyfish, bees, bed bugs...); Sick, allergic or food poisoning or injured and needs medical treatment
6. Found out that you left your stuffs on the plane
7. Lost passport
8. Pre-exchange foreign currency for spending in trip, and leave it at home
9. Wrong hotel, travel date or wrong destination
10. Mistake someone else's luggage at the airport or find out that their children have changed all your packaged things in the suitcase with their toys.
Besides, the survey also showed that 20% of respondents did not check the important and necessary information when traveling. 32% indicated they make trips more prone to breakdowns because of rush preparation.

Paul Stokes, M&S Bank's head of tourism, said many people spend time planning to make sure they don't go wrong during their vacation. And more people do this and more often than travel experts predict. They usually spend about 6 hours planning a trip, and 93% of respondents believe that planning a vacation in advance is very important. Nearly 30% said that they book rooms, tours, air tickets... 6 months in advance for a long trip.
But despite having a plan in place, 45% of respondents admitted that they always had at least one incident. This resulted in 30% of respondents spending more money than originally planned. But 62% of travelers say you don't have to be upset or upset when you encounter problems along the way. Because this is also a kind of experience, a funny memory that you will remember, and tell your friends later.
Research also shows that 30% of the respondents go on vacation but forget to buy travel insurance. 42% do not consider buying insurance necessary and 30% do not think they will claim compensation from the insurance company. Paul believes that getting adequate travel insurance will help you avoid worrying when the worst happens.
