In the first phase, Quang Nam province welcomes visitors from within the province and adjacent provinces and cities in the green, yellow and orange regions.
On October 18, Mr. Le Ngoc Tuong, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, announced the route to welcome tourists to the province in 4 phases.

Accordingly, phase 1 starts from the end of October and November, when tourism workers receive at least one dose of the vaccine after 14 days. At this time, the province welcomes guests residing in the green area (level 1), yellow area (level 2) and orange zone (level 3) in Quang Nam and from nearby provinces and cities. The reception is associated with the safe epidemic control and prevention process to get ready for the Christmas and New Year season and prepare to welcome guests from other provinces and cities across the country.
Phase 2 begins in early December, when all tourism workers are vaccinated with 2 doses of the vaccine after 14 days. The province will pilot welcome tourists from level 1, 2 and 3 localities across the country according to the "tourist bubble" model. Guests go on a self-contained tour through a travel agency associated with a safe epidemic prevention and control process.
Phase 3 from the beginning of January 2022, the province will expand to welcome guests residing at levels 1, 2 and 3 to visit, travel, relax... Guests can choose to follow a closed tour of a travel agency or Self-selecting services associated with safe epidemic prevention and control procedures. Tour/combo programs, sightseeing, tourism and entertainment activities for domestic guests in provinces and cities across the country will also be implemented.
Guests over 18 years old must receive the full dose of vaccine or have recovered from the disease. Guests under the age of 18 must have a negative test result within the prescribed time.
Phase 4 is when Quang Nam is allowed by the competent authority to welcome international guests. Quang Nam has proposed the Prime Minister to welcome international tourists.
International visitors to Quang Nam must have two doses of the vaccine or have a certificate of recovery and test negative 72 hours before leaving the country. These tourists must use the package tour program of the enterprise selected by Quang Nam province and travel by air. During their stay, tourists are not allowed to separate from groups, comply with schedules, take measures to ensure safety against epidemics, self-monitor their health...
Domestic visitors to Quang Nam must comply with 5K regulations, have a QR code and must use a QR code when participating in travel services. Guests with symptoms of fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, difficulty breathing should be tested.
Quang Nam encourages tourists in the province and adjacent provinces and cities to use the services of tourism service businesses in the green, yellow and orange zones from phase 1. In the first 9 months of 2021, the total number of visitors and guests staying in Quang Nam reached 326,300, down 77.6% over the same period in 2020 and down 94.5% over the same period in 2019. Social income from tourism reached 660 billion dong, down 73.3% over the same period in 2020 and down 93.7% over the same period in 2019. There were about 14,000 jobs lost, tourism loss was about 15,000 billion due to affected by Covid-19.
From August 17 to now, Quang Nam has recorded 947 cases, of which 161 cases of community disease, 465 cases of secondary infection were concentrated in isolation before detection, 189 imported from provinces and 82 cases entry. According to Resolution 128, Quang Nam belongs to the golden zone.
