The government said it plans to welcome international visitors who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 since October.
However, visitors may still be must perform compulsory quarantine for 14 days in the golden pagoda country. In addition, the island also plans to buy enough doses of vaccine to provide 70% of residents over 18 years old here. Officials are considering buying Chinese vaccines - vaccines that are effective at 50.4%. The island government has yet to disclose more about which vaccines the tourists inject are accepted.
The entire population vaccination time is expected to be 1/9. This vaccination project is funded by businesses, the local Chamber of Commerce and the Phuket Tourism Association. With this move, the local authorities believe that this famous resort will be safe for visitors, as the locals are immune.
