On the afternoon of October 21, Thailand announced 46 "low-risk" destinations, entitled to an exemption from isolation policy, without Vietnam's name.
From November 1, international tourists to the country of the Golden Temple are not required to be quarantined, if they fully meet 7 conditions, according to a notice from the Department of Disease Control of Thailand. Below are the conditions guests must meet.
1. Must be a citizen from a country or territory classified by the Public Health Ministry as low risk, and arriving by air. The list (which will be updated regularly) currently includes Singapore, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Korea, UAE, Bahrain, Mainland China, Hong Kong special zone, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Belgium , Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA.
2. Have two doses of Covid-19 vaccine
3. Have a negative PCR test result done within 72 hours
4. Have health insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD
5. Yes Receive a reservation in Thailand
6. Download and install one of the designated health monitoring apps upon arrival at the airport and do a PCR test within 24 hours of arrival.
7. If the test results are negative, travelers can continue to travel around the country without quarantine.
Thailand has not announced a policy for international visitors who are children, who have not been fully vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine. Therefore, families who want to bring their children here to travel are still quite confused.
This new policy has not mentioned how international visitors, unvaccinated children will travel with their parents.
Currently, Thailand is gradually reopening the country to international visitors based on three models. The first is that travelers who have not been fully vaccinated will have to quarantine for 7-14 days, depending on the case. The second is the sandbox model, tested in 17 provinces and the third is the non-quarantine model mentioned above. Citizens who are not on the list above, can enter according to the remaining two policies.
The Ministry of Health said that while creating conditions for visitors to come here with as few restrictions as possible, the government still attaches importance to the safety of local people and the country's health system.
