Dong Trong cave is closest to the mainland in the cave system in Bai Tu Long. About 500m from Van Don pier, Dong Trong has a wide heart, a high door, so it's easy to move deep inside. Inside, there are still traces of prehistoric people such as bones, stone labor tools.
Located a little further from Dong Trong is Nha Tro, in the territory of Ban Sen commune, Van Don district. The stalactites here have many fancy shapes that make visitors think of animals and birds. Outside there are many fossils, seashells, and snail shells. According to archaeologists, this was once a place where ancient Vietnamese people lived.
In the management area of Bai Tu Long National Park, there is Cai De cave. This is a cave on Cai Lim Island. Visitors can only enter the cave when the water is shallow because when the tide is high, the water reaches the top. The special thing in Cai De is that you can swim in a small boat in your lap. The reason why it is called Luong cave is because there are 2 connecting gates, when sailing to the next door is the exit to the mangrove forest, where there are seafood species, especially boredom.
