Day 1 – HANOI
Arrival to HANOI, capital of Vietnam and the second largest cudad of the country. Transfer to hotel. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 2 – HANOI
Breakfast and start of the visit to the city of Hanoi, where we can contemplate French colonial architecture, placid lakes and oriental temples. The tour includes the Ho Chi Minh House and the Mausoleum (exterior view), the Single Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc and Quan Thanh Pagodas and the Temple of Literature. After lunch, visit the Ngoc Son Temple. Then walk around the typical old quarter, also called the neighborhood of the 36 guilds and attend a puppet show on the water. Back to the hotel. Day 3 – HANOI – HALONG BAY
Breakfast and departure, crossing the fertile lands of the Red River Delta, to HALONG BAY, on the north coast of Vietnam in front of one of the most important ports of the country. Board for a trip in a traditional junco through some of the more than 3000 islands that make this bay one of the wonders of the world. Lunch, dinner and night on board.
Day 4 – HALONG BAY – HOI AN (HANOI – DANANG)
Breakfast and sailing to Halong. Disembark and exit by road to HANOI. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang. Arrival and transfer by road to HOI AN. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 – HOI AN
Breakfast. Visit of this city, the largest commercial port during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The ancient city, the magnificent covered bridge of Japanese style of more than 400 years and its colorful market. Lunch. I return to the hotel and I have free the afternoon. Possibility of an optional excursion to the ruins of My Son (consult prices). Accommodation.
Day 6 – HOI AN – HUE
Breakfast. Free time in Hoian with the possibility to make a cooking class of local dishes (consult prices). At the agreed time, departure by road to HUE, through Hai Van Pass (Harbor of Clouds) and Lang Co. Beach Arrival and accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 – HUE
Breakfast. In the morning, mini-cruise on the Perfume River, visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda on the way. Then visit the Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba market and cycle tour through the ancient city to Lake Tinh Tam. Lunch and visit to the Mausoleums of the Emperors Tuc Duc and Khai Dinh. Accommodation.
Day 8 – HUE – HO CHI MINH
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to Phu Bai airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh, old Saigon. Arrival and start of visits with the Cu Chi tunnels, a network of tunnels built by Viet Cong soldiers. Lunch and panoramic walking tour (outside only) through the city center to discover Notre Dame Cathedral, the former Post Office building in Saigon and the Reunification Palace, a historic building designed by the architect Ngô Viet Thu as a residence of the President of South Vietnam. Day 9 – HO CHI MINH – (DELTA RIVER MEKONG)
Breakfast. Departure to My Tho, where we will take a boat to Ben Tre Island. Halfway, we stop to see local families making paper of coconut rice and handicrafts with coconut shells. Walk back on boat to discover the narrow canals covered by palm trees. Lunch at a local restaurant and visit of a fish farm. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Rest of free time. Accommodation.
Day 10 – HO CHI MINH – SIEM REAP (ANGKOR)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for flight to SIEM REAP (Cambodia), departure point to visit the temples of Angkor. Transfer to hotel and lunch. Visit the National Museum of Angkor and the “Artisans” workshops of Angkor. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 11 – SIEM REAP (ANGKOR)
Breakfast. Visit to the archaeological complex “Angkor Thom” which includes the famous temples of Bayon, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the leper King and Ta Prohm. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit tuk tuk to the most famous temple, Angkor Wat, a great architectural piece built in the 12th century, which occupies an area of around 210 hectares. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 12 – SIEM REAP (ANGKOR) – CITY OF ORIGIN
Breakfast. In the morning, (depending on the level of the lake) boat trip on Lake Tonle Sap and visit the floating village of Chong Kneah. Lunch (subject to flight schedule) and transfer to the airport for departure flight. Night on board.
