Specialties like green rice flake cakes are famous in Hang Than street. Hang Than is just among more than 20 culinary streets in Hanoi which has about 70 streets with their first name of Hang.

The most popular brand must be considered is Nguyen Ninh Trademark. This is also the oldest brand for green rice flake cake which was named in 1865.

5. Lotus Tea

Lotus flower are easy to grow and can bloom almost anywhere. The lotus used to make the tea must be collected in the early morning, when the dew remains heavy, in order to ensure the tea’s freshness. After being picked, the anther (the part of the stamen that carries pollen) is quickly separated from the flower before it withers and loses its fragrance.
