1 Hanoi arrival  

You will be warmly welcomed upon arrival Hanoi airport and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon you will take a private walking city tour to visit local markets and Hanoi’s Old Quarter, known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds.  In the evening you will enjoy a water puppet performance before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay in Hanoi.

2 Hanoi - Hon Gai Dock -> Bai Tu Long Bay -> Vung Vieng Fishing Village -> Cong Do 

At 8:00 am, your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to travel to Halong Bay on a comfortable journey in our shuttle vehicles. There will be a 30-minute stop en route for refreshements. You arrive at our Emperor Cruises dock at around noon andour team will welcome you in our lounge before boarding. Our Experiences Manager will assist you with boarding to start cruising in Bai Tu Long Bay through the many beautiful islets (scenes from the film ‘Indochine’ were filmed here). Bai Tu Long Bay has a wild beauty and the panoramas from the boat are unforgettable. An a la carte lunch will be served at our Royal Restaurant on the main deck. Savor delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, the famous pearl-growing village, to view the fishing tanks of the local people. You have time to observe the process of feeding pearl as well as learning a little about the life of the local people. Proceed to Vung Vieng floating village to board bamboo boats so the locals can row you around their village and oyster pearl farming plots. Return to the boat by speedboat. The cruise continues from the Vung Vieng fishing village to Cong Do (sleeping area), where you will enjoy the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset, admire the striking islands and islets, relax, indulge yourself and savor the peaceful atmosphere which can only be found out here among the islands. Choose from kayaking, just relaxing or taking afternoon tea and watching the sky color change as the sun sets. Enjoy wine tasting, attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (making spring rolls) in a truly stunning setting. Enjoy our a la carte 5-course menu for dinner on board as you experience the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night. 3 Cong Do (Sleeping Area) - Thien Canh Son Cave - Hon Gai Dock – Hanoi 

Wake up to the gentle lapping of the water against the boat and as the first rays of the sun announce a new day. Before enjoying breakfast have cookies and tea and then try the tai chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Bai Tu Long Bay

Explore the area of Hon Co Island and Co Cave (Grass Cave, also known as Thien Canh Son). You can revel in the breathtaking view of Bai Tu Long bay from up high, as well as the glorious long white-sand beach of Hon Co Island. Afterwards relax on the beach, go swimming in the crystal clear water and explore the cave. Return to the cruise by speedboat. Arrange the luggage and check out. Enjoy brunch on board while cruising back to the mainland. Arrive back at Emperor Cruises dock, Halong City for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you back to Hanoi

Arrival in Hanoi, we will join in cyclo tour around Hanoi Old Quarter in about 1 hours. Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will join in a special tour to discover Secret bunker at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi that Measuring 40 square metres, the bomb shelter under the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi is open free of charge to visiting hotel customers. While laying the foundation for a bar at Hanoi’s Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel in 2011, construction workers uncover an air raid shelter constructed during the past war with the US. The bunker tour last 45 minutes everyday. Tour starts at 5pm or 6pm.

4 Hanoi city tour - Hue  

This full day tour will take you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his Stilts House, the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda nearby and the Old Quarter, known for its maze of 36 streets and former craft guilds.

Also on the tour, you'll visit the Temple of Literature, History museum, find the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple and Ethnology Museum.

Then we transfer to Noi Bai Airport for flight to Hue city.

Upon arrival, you will be welcome by local guide to transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

5 Hue city tour 

After breakfast at hotel, you will board a private traditional boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded by ancient tombs of past emperors, some of which will be on the itinerary for the day. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day and is located at the convergence of rivers, which makes it an ideal place for a great view of the Perfume River and surrounding area. And visit Minh Mang & King Tu Duc's tomb.

Afternoon: you will embark on a tour of the city, including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Phu Cam conical hat village. Dinner.

Enjoy traditional musicial show on Perfume river. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

6 Hue – Danang   

After breakfast at hotel, you will leave the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Hue for Hoi An. You will travel over the Hai Van pass to have a overlook Lang Co Beach, stop in Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum. Visit Son Tra Peninsula is also known as American called Monkey Mountain, which Da Nang reaching out the East Sea furthest. Visit the third Linh Ung Pagoda of Danang, with the highest Buddha statue, and admire the huge Buddha Statue which is the highest statue in Vietnam. You will be amazed at its cool climate there. Then leave Son Tra and travel along coastline street to enjoy beautiful beaches up close.

Next destination is handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain.

Dinner on Han River Cruise Restaurant.

7 Danang – My Son Holy Land – Hoi An ancient town  
After breakfast, transfer to My son sanctuary ia a large complex of more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with intricate red brick design is the towers, built to reflect the divinity of the king. Then, drive back to Hoi An, you will enjoy a half day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. And overnight in Hoi An.

8 Hoi An cooking class – Saigon

8:30AM Picking up at hotel in Hoi An visiting a local market with a chef. Learning the traditional ingredients used in Vietnamese cooking, particularly the Hoi An style cooking.

09:15AM Boarding the boat and travelling to Cam Thanh water coconut village. While the boat cruises along the river, observing beautiful Hoi An rural lives with water coconut forest in the background.

10:00AM Transferring from the main boat to the bamboo basket boat and slowly rowing to the village. Having an opportunity to learn how to row this unique bamboo basket boat and making an art out of coconut leaves.

10:45AM Arriving at the village and receiving welcome drinks. Starting the cooking lesson with 4 most popular and traditional dishes in Hoi An. Then you wil enjoy them.

Afternoon: transfer to Airport for domestic flight to Saigon.

Upon arrival in Saigon, our local guide will pick you up to transfer to hotel.

ABF at hotel. Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi tunnels. On your way, you will pass by paddy fields. Here you will have the opportunity to meet villagers and witness how rice paper is made. Explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and start the trip for visiting War Museum, Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue seeing some impressive French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office. Then we will move to Bitexco Financial tower, you will have chance to over view Saigon city from the highest bulding here. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.

ABF at hotel.We will collect you at the Ho Chi Minh meeting point and transfer you by air-conditioned coach to My Tho dock where we will welcome you aboard the Aqua Mekong. Settle into your floating retreat, with its window wall conferring an endlessly captivating panorama. Enjoy these private Mekong moments.

Begin the day at Binh Thanh mat weaving village or opt to visit Sa Dec where we will peruse the vibrant market and see the famous house of Marguerite Duras' legendary lover, Mr. Huynh Thuy Le.  In the afternoon, visit a typical Mekong Delta village called My An Hung where we will walk through verdant plantations. We will be invited to a local's home to taste local fruits while hearing traditional folk songs performed by villagers followed by a unique unicorn dance. A 17-kilometer Biking option is also available.



Travel by skiff along Bassac Canal to Chau Doc floating market then head off by van to Long Son Pagoda atop Sam Mountain. Ask the monks about their age-old Buddhist practices. Return via the bustling morning market. Optional 18 kilometers bike ride on Long Khanh Island or take a rickshaw ride to visit Tan Chau Market with chef. After lunch, relax by the pool, try traditional Khmer massage or learn to cook Mekong inspired dishes while we cross the border.


On this river of time we admire dexterous Khmer artisans dyeing and weaving kroma, the ubiquitous item no Khmer lives without. Explore the riverbank on two wheels if you wish, past Buddhist temples and thatch houses perched on spindly wooden stilts while white oxen wade just offshore. After lunch, we board our marine-grade aluminum skiffs and head towards the tamarind trees of Preah Prosop, a remote village little changed over several lifetimes.

14 Tuesday: PHNOM PENH

We show off the Cambodian capital to our passengers by motorized tuk-tuk, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum of Cambodia, home to the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. For those who wish, we visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide and the Killing Field or shopping at Russian Market. Then transfer to hotel in Phnom Penh.
